Thank you for calling them "masterpieces". That's very kind and generous of you. I find that I get my best ideas when I'm walking and listening to music on my headphones. I enter a complete fantasy state. The physical environment surrounding me isn't always that important, but the combination of music and steady, speedy movement inspires me in ways I find strange, but incredibly effective. When it comes to the writing of actual pages, I move around the house with a laptop. When laptops became lighter and slimmer, I felt suddenly liberated from my desk.
