Russ asked Maeve Greyson:

Hi Maeve, I know as a professional author you don't have the luxury of writing only when the mood hits you. Can you give me a tip on how to do that? Thanks,

Maeve Greyson If at all possible, you need to try to write every day. Even if it's just one sentence or one phrase. At least you wrote something. It's hard to write sometimes but you have to think of it as YOUR job and if you don't do it, no one else will. There are times when you have to push yourself but don't push too hard. Take care of your mental and emotional health. And be positive. Even when you have a bad day of writing--say, "Hey! I wrote a sentence today!" After all, not everyone did! ;-)
