Adib Khorram Hello! So part of the inspiration is bills to pay...if I don't write, I can't pay the rent! And writing for a living has definitely changed my relationship to the work.

But in general, when writing feels hard, I remind myself over and over: it doesn't have to be good, it doesn't have to be done. I'm a writer that thrives in revision; if I don't have something to revise, I can't do anything. But knowing I can always make things better later helps me feel in control of the process.
