is the spy school series going to be like harry potter, in the sense that we will grow up with the characters? in 2020 i asked a question if more lgbtq & bipoc diversity will appear in spy school & i think that if we grow up with the characters they will have a chance to get in touch with their identities. because even if their identities are not specified it doesnt mean its diverse. i like ur books just wondering!

Stuart Gibbs The characters in SS are not going to be able to grow up the way that the characters do in HP. It is very hard to have a series age up and hold onto the same fans. So it makes much more sense to keep writing for the same age level. That's why my books all take place over a shorter time span than HP. HP was an extremely unusual circumstance in which there were 100s of millions of fans who wanted the books to grow up as they aged.
