Two authors in the same house! Do you and Tom collaborate at all, or do you prefer to work on separate projects?

Cece Bell We do collaborate sometimes. We did Crankee Doodle (Clarion Books) together (we came up with the basic idea and page layout during a car trip; Tom then polished up the writing and I did the pictures). We are also working on a trio of early readers for Abrams about a detective who just happens to be a flytrap. Tom's writing, I'm doing the pictures. But you should know that although we live in the same house, we don't usually work in the same place. I have my own studio...a separate building from the house...and NO BOYS ALLOWED.
