How do you get inspired to write?

Cole Poindexter I love going back to old movies or old TV shows that I grew up watching and loving. I like to analyze what I loved about those shows and films and try to figure out ways to put that into a new story. When I'm writing and I'm stuck on a chapter, sometimes I'll listen to music that fits the mood of the story. I also look at what might be trending on things like Netflix or something similar to that and see what kinds of stories people are telling.
