How do I get a publisher to accept my book for representation? I've been trying to get my book accepted and I've received a lot of rejection emails. Any advice?

I have a big section with advice for writers on my website here: https://rickriordan.com/about/advice-.... It's tough, I know! I have tons of rejection notes, too. Keep writing, keep improving, don't give up. That's the main advice!

Are you optimistic—or at the very least hopeful—about the future market for children's literature in the coming years and decades? While there will always be children who love to read, it seems as though reading among younger generations is declining. What can authors, publishers, or educators do to reinvigorate a child's desire to read, and are there innovative approaches or past successes that give you hope?

You certainly don’t need to answer this, as I know that you have so many other questions to deal with, but I just want you to know that my daughter and I read all of the Percy Jackson books together out loud, and it was such a bonding experience that we both treasure those books even today.
