Hello Cornelia! Firstly I want to say thank you for your books, they were such an important part of my world as a child, and are still favorites to this day. I wanted to inquire about your earliest inspirations as a writer, who would you say influenced your writing style as you went about the creative process for books like The Dragon Rider? I'd love to know a few of them.

I was a bored illustrator:) Who didn't like the stories publishers sent me. So...one day I decided to write a story with everything I wanted to draw: dragons, sea serpents, brownies.....and suddenly I was a writer!

Hello Cornelia, I know I'm stating the obvious, but i really do LOVE YOUR BOOKS A LOT . In fact, I'm so thankful to you, because the Inkheart trilogy is what got me started on reading (I'm a complete book nerd now). Here's my question: Which character did you enjoy writing the most in the Inkheart trilogy, which one is your favourite and which one do you identify with the most ? (<3 Dustfinger xD)
