DeepThinker
DeepThinker asked Manny Rayner:

What are Manny's 10 most important books to read? I am not saying they should be mine or everyone elses top, but considering you are more read and jaded than most here...Anyways, if your response is a joke, then I will assume you are either busily writing a comedy, or there really arent many books worth reading (I have read a lot, but find on average 90%+ to be a waste of time).

Manny Rayner Jean Anouilh, Antigone
Frans G. Bengtsson, Röde Orm
Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass
Gustave Flaubert, Madame Bovary
Ursula K. Le Guin, The Dispossessed
Anthony Powell, A Dance to the Music of Time
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, Le petit prince
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings
Voltaire, Candide
Kurt Vonnegut, Cat's Cradle

I have read all of these multiple times and never get tired of them.
