Hi Kendare, I absolutely ADORE the Queens of Fennbirn series~ 1. how did you come up with this universe? 2. do you keep all the tiny threads of details somewhere not just your brain? 3. why did joseph have to die? 4. what happened to the people who died from the mist?

Hey! This is lots of questions disguised as one! That’s cheating! Just kidding, I’m happy to answer. 1. The universe keeps expanding! My next fantasy series takes place off of Fennbirn in the same universe. As for how I came up with the concept of the queens: bees. Queen bees.
2. The threads are in my brain. THEY’RE IN MY BRAIN! OH THE HUMANITY! But some details I just have to look back on. And there are documents saved for Fennbirn history, the timeline of Queens, in case I need to reference them.
3. Because he was naughty. Not really. He just died. I always suspected he would, and like Arsinoe I always suspected it was another ripple of consequence from her using low magic.
