Ava Halt asked Stuart Gibbs:

Hi Mr. Gibbs, I'd just love to say I'm a huge fan of Spy School, and I hope you continue to write them because it is my favorite series. I was just wondering, was Spy School intended to be realistic? As in the academy and the thrilling action? Or was it only made up? Thanks so much!

Stuart Gibbs The series ins't meant to be entirely realistic. The CIA does not really have a school for spies, and the world of SS is a bit sillier that the real world. But I do intend for the characters to feel real and for readers to feel as if, just maybe, all this could happen.
