Oops, a very late response! My next book (coming out in June) is a picture book called I YAM A DONKEY. It's all about grammar. Kinda nutty! I'm also working on a second Rabbit & Robot book, plus a bunch more stuff. Thanks for asking!

Hi Cece! I got "El Deafo" for my little sister, who just moved to California from Russia and is really struggling to understand other kids and/or talk to them. She loved the story and identified with your character (you?), even though her "difference" is very "different". My question is - are you planning on continuing the story - el Deafo's adolescence, for example? I loved the book too, a big thank you for your work
