Hi Andrew, just finished AA3. I have a question related to the Shapeshifter Attunement. Don't know if you can answer it or it's spoiler. I read that the user can shapeshift part of the body or do a complete shapeshift, but how does it work? Like a summoner the user have to do a contract or he can just copy a monster? And a strong attuned, like an emerald, could partially shapshift into a god beast?
Andrew Rowe
Shapeshifter is a contract-based attunement, similar to a Summoner. Thus, to partially shapeshift into something resembling a god beast, a Shapeshifter would need a contract with said God Beast. This wouldn't actually make someone as powerful as a god beast - it would simply provide similar physical properties. The Shapeshifter could gain specific powers from the God Beast, but that would also be based on the terms of the contract, similar to how it works for Summoners.

The more I read, the more I feel like he isnt, even though people believe he is. That he attacked his own city, or would even have to with his children all but in charge feels off. And the way the 'death magic' was described feels more like the magic used by the Sun Eater's people, which makes me think that the TiG is actually the Sun Eater, one of his minions or an avatar. So, is this close?

In AA2 we saw Keras help Corin make Bright Reflection, and you said Sera could help Corin make enchantments with her mana from her contracts could both Keras and Sera help Corin make artificial attunements with their mana? Also in AA2 Keras said that he couldn't help too much with enchantments because of his shroud is that unique to him or would someone like Wrynn Jaden also affect Corin's enchantments?
