I know that you were a teacher before becoming an author - what aspects of teaching do you miss the most, and would you consider returning to teach kids?
Rick Riordan
I miss teaching kids and getting them interested in books and history! I loved being a teacher and still have dreams about it all the time, usually anxiety dreams that I have not prepared my day's lesson or have not finished grading my papers. I don't see myself going back to the classroom at this point, though. I have my hands full with writing books, which is also fun!

Hi, Rick Riordan! I absolutely love your writing, especially your Percy Jackson series. I've noticed that the point of view you use varies throughout different series, and I was wondering: How and why do you decide which POV to use when beginning a series? (First person is my personal favorite.)
