I've just seen the release date for "Ruin" as the 18th of June for the UK? Is this firmly set? I need to book a couple of days off for this....

Hi Matt,
18th June 2015 is not 100% definite as the UK release date for Ruin. Probably 95% right now - based on the fact that the edit is not quite finished - close, and with no major issues, but I can't say definitely until the edit is finished. Sorry I can't be more helpful Matt - and by the way, booking time off to read Ruin, what a star you are. You get some serious points for that :) I'm hoping that you won't be dissapointed.

Hi. Just finishing reading Valour and, as Italian, I cannot help noticing that people from Tenebral are somewhat reminiscent of ancient Romans. Is this intended? Should we expect other reflections of real history in the series?
By the way, amazing books! Comparison with GoT is unnecessary, they are absolute masterpieces on their own right! Thank you!

Hey, I've noticed a pattern with your books. At the end of each one, someone or something dies (along with pieces of my heart and soul). This is making me REALLY NERVOUS FOR BOOK FOUR WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING JOHN?! I don't think my heart can take another ending like Ruin :(
That said, The Faithful and the Fallen is up there in my top 10 fave book series of all time ever, so thank you for sharing your world with us :)
