Kendall Moore
Kendall Moore asked Alan Baxter:

I loved the adaptation of your story "In Vaulted Halls Entombed." That mental depiction of the Great Old One was one of the most horrific things I've ever encountered. How did you feel about it as the author?

Alan Baxter Hey Kendall. Really glad you enjoyed it, thanks! I think they did a great job with the adaptation. In the original story it's very clear the creature in chains is an elder god and I describe it as having many eyes and chains passing through its flesh, but I left it a little ambiguous as to who/what it really was. Absolutely the implication is that it could have been Cthulhu or equally a similar non-Lovecraftian cosmic entity. The adaptation went 100% in with "It's definitely Cthulhu!" and I'm fine with that. I think they did an amazing job with it.
