Hypothetical question, let's say we lived on a planet with a asteroid ring around it between the planet and the moon. I would assume the ring would be visible to the naked eye? What would it look like from the ground? Would we be able to track of the larger objects?

Neil deGrasse Tyson Depends on how many asteroids occupy the zone. If there's enough, they will reflect enough sunlight to be rendered as a visible ring. But orbits between Earth and the Moon don't tend to be stable over long periods of time. So you'd have to enjoy it while it lasted. -NDTyson

Could the earth technically be a flat plain but is bent through 5th dimensional space making us see it as a sphere? Similar to how interstellar suggests a wormhole would appear spherical in the three dimensions we can interpret?
