Rose Rosetree
Rose Rosetree asked Carl Greer:

If this question isn't too personal, Carl Greer, when did you first become aware of the importance of stories. At this point in your career (I call retirement "mid-career" -- although you've already done so much), what's most important to you now about the impact of stories that people tell themselves? Thanks in advance.

Carl Greer I had been interested in stories for most of my life but hadn't reflected on my own story until I was close to 60. I realized that the stories we consciously and unconsciously tell ourselves impact the way we think and feel and act. Consequently, I feel it's important to spend time reflecting on our lives and our stories so we can make conscious decisions for change that can help us live with a greater sense of meaning and purpose.
