I am loosing track of who knows what Nick is in DH. In some books, it almost seems like common knowledge, in which case you'd think Noir would know by now because of his mysterious source within the good guys. In other books, people are speculating about why he's different and Noir is looking for him. Do you mind clarifying?

As with any secret or fact about a person to those who know it's common knowledge and to those who don't, it isn't. There are characters who know who and what Nick is and those who don't. So depending on the characters who are on scene, it either is a known, "common" fact or it's not. In some cases, it is a secret.
Yeah, I know. Clear as mud. Let me clarify with an example. We all have circles around us of people who know us to varying degrees. Common everyday knowledge that most people don't know about me: I have two older sisters. One who has severe Cerebral Palsy. That's not a secret and yet, most people who interact with me all the time, don't know that. My closest friends know it and many have met them. Yet there are people I have known for years, many who claim to be really close to me who don't know that most basic unhidden fact about me.
So to answer your question, there really isn't many who know Nick is the Malachai. He doesn't usually announce it and it doesn't come up. Those who know, know and to them it's common knowledge among that small handful. Not even Bubba and Mark know who Nick is. It really is a small group who keep it close to the vest. But to them, it's common and normal. The rest speculate and know he's different, but aren't sure how. When the ones who know what Nick is are together: Thorn, Caleb, Kody, Simi, etc, it seems like common knowledge because to them it is common, but not to the others.
You also have to remember that Noir doesn't run in the same circle as Nick. He isn't with the DH. Those who know what Nick is such as Thorn and Jaden aren't Noir's friends or allies. They're his enemies and aren't going to help him find his Energizer Bunny. Instead, they have vested interests in keeping NIck as far away from Noir as possible. There's also more going on than I can say right now. But it will all make sense very soon.

I'm super confused on reading order.Started w/the Chronicles of Nick.I'm almost finished with Illusion in the CON series. Now I find out there is the Dark Hunter series.DH series has some characters in the CON series & from the blurb of the first book, it is happening in the future? CoN has alluded to some of the happenings in the DH series. Will DH spoil the CON series, or should I have read the DH series first?

I am currently reading Styxx's book and I think it is great to show the contrast between him and Acheron as well as how alike they were in their paths growing up.I think I love these books because I have a fascination for the mythological and its great learning about some of the gods and goddesses I am less familiar with. How did the Dark Hunter series come to be based around the different myths of so many cultures?
