I think all the Mike Miller/first crush stuff. I cracked myself up while working on those parts where I get all spacey and lovey-dovey for him. And it's so fun to draw hearts all over everything!

Hi Cece, I'm hard of hearing so I LOVED reading El Deafo (recommended to my by my Girl Scouts!). I have never read a book where I was able to associate so well with the character. Are you thinking of writing more books with deaf or hard of hearing characters? Or do you have recommendations for other books with d/hh characters?
