I initially wrote Near Death Lessons for my two young sons (a newborn and a 6-year-old) to know who their father was. I just had a brain operation that almost killed me where a tumour burst in my head, leaving me with extreme disabilities. After the operation and coming back home, I was worried that I was going to die.
