Evelyn asked Sally Forbes:

Ms. Forbes. I was wondering at your use of the expression "high five" in "A Convenient Christmas Proposal". From what I could find, this word usage dates back only to the 1920s. Just a comment, not a criticism. I loved the book and am now reading "To Love a Lady's Scars". How do you research such phrases in your writing?

Sally Forbes Hello Evelyn!

Thank you very much for the comment and I deeply appreciate it. Many times the way of writing has to be harmonized with that of today's times, that's why some such phrases may come to your attention!
