Alba, I'm new to Goodreads and just stumbled into this middle grade group. In one recent post you mentioned a special needs protagonist, which is what I am trying to promote with my latest story, so thank you for the encouragement to the other author. Can you recommend other such stories? I am so looking forward to reading your books and sharing them with my 10 year old granddaughter.

That's wonderful that you have a special needs protagonist! I love seeing more and more stories with inclusion and diverse characters. Here are a couple of middle grade books I love that have special needs protagonists:
-Insignificant Events in the Life of a Cactus by Dusti Bowling
-The London Eye Mystery by Siobhan Dowd
Both are mysteries and both are excellent, albeit VERY different.
