Thanks. No, beyond frustration, no there isn't. I have lots of fragments that seem entirely useless without an organizing principle. How does one put limitations around one's writing so that it works towards something resembling literature? And should one explore for this organizing principle, is that a priority, or should one just write?

Manny Rayner It's often useful to think of some specific audience who would like to read the final result. Goodreads is an excellent forum in this respect. People here are interested in all sorts of things.
