Goodreads asked E.J. Rekab:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

E.J. Rekab The answer is three-fold for me:

1) I give myself a few days or a week or so away from the manuscript to give myself distance so I can come back with fresh eyes.
2) During that "break" I watch shows or movies in the same general genre just to get me back in the right headspace.
3) If all else fails, writing sprints. Set a timer for twenty minutes and during those twenty minutes, you're allowed to do nothing but write whatever comes to mind. Repeat this process until things start to flow and click again.

Hope someone finds this helpful!
