Hello Christine, I am re-reading “Dark Song” and I wondered how you know what scents to blend together? You describe the scent that Elizabeta uses and you just sounds knowledgeable, like a person who creates perfume.

Thank you! I try to be thoughtful about scents. I consider the region, the personality and try to vary it so it is unique. I got the idea when I visited a perfume shop in New Orleans and learned so much about scents.
