Hi Robin! My name is Mon and I have loved your books for a very long time! As a part of the LGBTQ+ community I loved the way you put Daisy’s identity into your stories. I love writing and was wondering if you have any tips on how to fill in gaps in a book? The project I’m working on currently is going faster than I want it to and I’m looking for ways to bulk it out! From Mon

Robin Stevens Hi Mon! Thank you so much! Daisy's identity is so important to me, and I'm really glad it's resonated with fans too.

What I'd do in this case is just keep going until the end - see where the story ends up, and how long it is. You might then be able to go back and put in scenes that help slow the pace, or you might realise that it doesn't need them, and it's good how it is! You don't want a story that's all action with no calm moments, but you also don't want to put in unnecessary scenes for the sake of it. You'll definitely be in a position to work out which one's which once the first draft is done!
