Will Ben ever be good with weaponry? Will he ever learn how to use a gun or something? I just feel like he is the main character and the closest thing to a weapon he has ever used is a tennis racket.

Just because Ben is the main character, that does not mean he needs to be good with weapons. Part of Ben's appeal (to most people, at least) is that he is not perfect. He is slowly getting better at some things (like fighting) but will probably never be adept with weapons.
For the record, I loathe how easy most movies make using a weapon appear. It is very difficult to get good at using a weapon, particularly a firearm, and it requires a great deal of training. When movies make it look easy, that sends a disturbing message to viewers.

Do you have another side job or do you earn your living off of just writing books? Also, is there a limit on how many questions we ask? I’ve asked a bunch and i don’t to be annoying, but you’re my favorite author and it’s really cool to get to talk to your favorite author. :)
