Hello! Um, I was asking, is there going to be an alternative cover for sun and star? I mean, for children whose parents won't let them read the book bc of the cover.
Rick Riordan
There is no alternative cover. I am speaking for the UK and US editions when I say this. I have not seen the other international editions yet. It's sad to think that a picture of two people holding hands would be a reason to prohibit a young person from reading a book, but yes, of course, I know it happens. Like all my books, this is one entirely PG-rated: no cursing, no graphic violence, no drug use, no romantic content beyond holding hands and the occasional kiss. My only suggestion would be to ask parents to read the book before they prohibit it, rather than literally judging it by its cover, and if they do prohibit it, have an honest conversation with their children about why.

Rick Riordan:
Hi Rick! First, congratulations! I wanted to thank you. By creating characters from the LGTB community, from different religions and also latinos, you make your readers be able to identify even more with your books. Because of your stories I have learned and loved mithology. And I wanted to know: would you write new series from Latin American mithology, maybe about South Americans gods like Pachamama?

One very important question: why are your books still in the children and middle grade section? A lot of us aren't so young anymore and we still totally love your books! :D Not to mention the characters also get older and all the social problems, which you bring up lately.
