Hey Rick, I have a question about the Kane Chronicles TV show. When is it coming to Netflix? My friend and I love your books and we can't wait to see the show!!!! Also, I want to know what your favourite book character you have wrote about is.

Rick Riordan Red Pyramid is still being revised as a script. it's been a very long process, but hopefully we are getting close to having something the studio wants to produce. We will see. Since it hasn't even been green-lit yet, I would guess we are several years away from the movie actually being on Netflix, assuming it does in fact get made. Nothing can be started -- no casting, director choices, filming, anything -- until the script is approved.

Hi!? I'm very curious on how and why the title for "The Sun and The Star" was picked! I've always wondered how the process of picking a title for a book works. (Also, i was reading this to my younger sisters and they kept telling me, "tHe sUn Is A sTaR.") ((i just realized this came off as a bit criticizing, sorry about that, i didn't mean it that way!))

Do you ever do signings or tours at independent bookstores? Also, do you have any advice on how to write in a way that is enjoyable for people of all ages? I work at Beach Town Books in San Clemente, CA and we like to get young adults and children reading. I am always recommending your books to people of all ages and lots of readers say "I didn't know books could be so fun" when I've gotten them to read yours.
