Erika asked Rick Riordan:

Hi Uncle Rick, I can’t wait to read your new book on Solangelo. Meanwhile, I followed with emotion every update about it (even on the series!). But I was a bit disappointed to see that the title in the Italian edition would not be the same: "Luce e Tenebra" instead of literal translation like "Il sole e la stella". So my question is, was it your choice to change the title? And if so, why?

Rick Riordan Each international publisher makes their own decisions about the title and the cover art. I usually don't have any say in that. Often I don't even know about it until the book is published! My understanding is that Mondadori believed 'Luce e Tenebra' sounded better than 'Il sole e la stella.' Not sure I agree, but whatever the case, I hope you enjoy the book!
