How do you check your translations, like when you put Latin and Greek or Italia phrases in your books? I'm looking to include other languages in the NaNoWriMa novel I'm writing, but I don't have a better tool than Google Translate.

I've found that scholars are often happy to answer specific questions if I ask nicely, but the publisher also helps with proofreading (once you get a publisher, of course!) Still, we don't always get it right. I just do the best I can and when in doubt, I write a side note to my editor: "I don't know this language well. Please help."
