I am an artist and find it difficult to leave my painting thoughts at the studio sometimes. Can you easily turn off your feelings at the end of a writing session?

Jojo Moyes When I'm writing a book I never turn off, Courtney. I can't write unless I'm immersed. There is about 15% of my brain constantly ticking over with what the characters are thinking or should be doing. I'm a bit suspicious of writers who say they can shut it down!
