Madeline Lavergne
Madeline Lavergne asked E. G. Runyan:

What were your biggest inspirations/reasons for writing this book?

E. G. Runyan Great question! I've always loved the mystery surrounding the Loch Ness Monster and I've always loved Scotland because it's part of my heritage (and because my favorite author, George MacDonald, was Scottish and often wrote his stories set in the rural highlands!). Both of those things are what originally sparked my inspiration to write this book. As for my reasons for writing it--firstly, I simply love to write. Secondly, I wrote it because I believe stories can bless and impact others, and my dream is to write tales that do just that.
