How about a story on the paniolos and origins of Hawaiian slack key guitar? There are so many great players!! My the favorite was Dennis Kamakahi, but there are so many great musicians from Hawaii. Thank you!

I've been doing some research into the paniolos but so far haven't found anything dramatic enough to sustain a novel. Mahalo for the suggestion though.
