Sorry for the slow response, I missed this until now!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the story!

It's very heavily based on my family history, specifically things that happened in my mother's, grandfather's, and great grandmother's lives in Kotzebue, Alaska, mixed with our folklore.

I do have another book in the works! I'm just getting the feedback from my second round of beta readers, and I'll be sending it off to my agents in a few weeks!
