About Jason in the AoM series. I feel that Sam is definitely not Jason's type of man. What is Jason's original type of man like? Probably ever since he became an FBI agent from college, he even dated Shayne, and I personally think that he is a similar type of guy to Jason to date.

Josh Lanyon You're correct. Sam is most definitely not Jason's "type," which I think is pretty clear from Jason's initial reaction to him. 😉 But I don't think Jason had an actual "type" before Sam. I think he gravitated toward attractive and ambitious men who were not looking for anything too heavy or intense in a relationship. Men like himself, in fact. In addition to being ambitious, Jason is obsessed with his work and his sense of mission, so his earlier relationships would previously have mostly been enjoyable but a bit shallow. On the occasions where he did start to become emotionally invested, his job would inevitably have got in the way.
