I don't see an actual story here, but I wonder how Bosha is doing as a co-parent in the house of two very busy, strong willed adults, a role he must never have envisioned. Also because someone I know is living with her daughter, son-in-law, and three boys under the age of 8. She is starting to chafe under the apparent assumption that, since she is retired, she will always be available for child care. (?)

Sounds like a job for fanficwoman...
Though at Adelis-Tanar-Bosha's economic level, there would be plenty of servants around; Bosha also has a job, possibly a new one or two, so I don't think the parallel with your acquaintance would hold.

Thank you in advance if you're willing to answer this question. Besides publishing professionals (like agents/editors etc), out of the "famous" authors, artists, or SpecFi Con participants living or dead that you've meet over your career, who were you most surprised to learn was a a fan of yours? Also, who were you most pleased to learn was a fan?

Totally enjoyed Gentleman Jole & the Red Queen. (I predict an art exhibit "Aral at 100" on the AO3 fan fiction site). Are you going to make use of the "ghost fleet" in future? Seems you have a Betan Captain, two Admirals, potentially, 17 family cadets and the universe to explore. :).

Thank you for your great work!
I've noticed interpretations of revelations in GJ&RQ as meaning that Barrayar's victory in the first Cetagandan war was somehow not real. Yet the fact that one side refrained from using weapons of mass destruction doesn't make its defeat less real. US didn't use nukes in Vietnam, USSR in Afghanistan. Yet they still actually lost those wars & same goes for Cetaganda.
Would you agree?
