I'm on the verge of finishing up your Osprey survey "Battle Tactics of the American Revolution," and am impressed with your economy in compressing a lot of information into a very constrained format. My actual question is whether you are aware of Friederike Baer's "Hessians?" It's based on a lot of previously unused primary source material and I found very enlightening.

Thank you for the kind comments! It was quite challenging to write, but I'm glad you think it manages to cover the topic well enough for being so succinct. I have heard Friederike Baer's Hessian book is excellent, but I foolishly didn't buy it when it first came out and now can't find a copy under £80 - I'll have to fork out at some point. Funnily enough, my next Osprey book is covering Hessian involvement in the Revolution.
