Not a question. Just a bit of a revelation. I just finished Spirit Stones. I wanted you to know that the epilogue touched me so much that I cried during the visit from Sheona's mother. When I was undergoing treatment for breast cancer, I felt like my mother (who had passed a couple years prior) would stop by and feed me the strength to survive. Was this an experience of your own?

Kate Robbins Wow, Christine. Thank you for sharing that with me. I have lost many family members over the years for various reasons and have thought a lot about what's on the other side. I do feel that I have been touched by loved ones who have passed and so in some ways, yes, I drew on my own feelings while writing that scene.
