Very good question! Sometimes my villains are inspired by actual criminals and sometimes it's the complete opposite. I was watching American Pickers one day on TV and thinking about how nice and likable the two main guys are, and suddenly my brain took a big left turn and said "What if they weren't so nice after all?" and I was off to the races.

I know you struggle to finish writing under a deadline. Does the deadline truly help or just rush your story? Do you write outside or just at a desk? When you write, do you have an ending already set, or do your characters evolve and change the ending? ( I love your writing style and I can't wait for more of your books in my future)
