Why did you write Spy School Project X? All the Spy School fans I know hate that book. I honestly don't really like it, too. I love the series, though! And, I really liked the newest book, Spy School Goes Wild, maybe my favorite.

I wrote Project X because I said, gosh, I know everyone has liked all my books so far, so let me do one that people will hate so much that they go out of their way to tell me how bad it is.
OK, that's not true. But I'm not sure what you are expecting me to say. No author writes a book thinking that people will hate it. I am not sure what you and all the fans that you are in touch with hate about it, but I your response is extremely different from that of most people who I hear from.

You’ve said that you have no plans to make stories aimed for adults. Forgive my lack of knowledge on how the age rating system works. But will you ever consider bumping it up for Spy School, considering how Ben is now a few years above that group, keeping all the conversations natural. My friend and I both reading the books when we were 8. And after so many years we’re wondering if the dialogue will evolve as well?
