Rick Riordan:
Do you think you could or would ever write a reference/mention in your books or even a whole character/side story to where a trans girl has or is to join the Hunters of Artemis? You've mentioned before that she would accept them in. I think it would mean a lot to them if you did at least have a character reference it happening. I haven't met a trans girl fan of your books that hasn't wished they could.

It's one of many ideas I have considered and I would love to see that, but it's a matter of figuring out the right story, finding time in my schedule, and finding a great co-author, because that is a POV I would need help with to make sure we do the character justice. No immediate plans on the horizon, but it is on my (very, very long) list of possibilities!

Hi Mr. Riordan, my brother and I are your biggest fans and we had a question. Why where Achilles and Odysseus not mentioned in Percy Jackson's Greek Heroes? Also, I would be honored if you could please check out my blog. I read 1000 pages a week every week and then I blog about it. And btw I am proud to say your books are greatly represented. Please look at it! 1000pagesaweek.blogspot.com Thank you so much! Aliza

Hi Rick! First, congratulations! I wanted to thank you. By creating characters from the LGTB community, from different religions and also latinos, you make your readers be able to identify even more with your books. Because of your stories I have learned and loved mithology. And I wanted to know: would you write new series from Latin American mithology, maybe about South Americans gods like Pachamama?
