Trying to remember ... a few years ago, saw a woman walking through a department store, carrying one. Said hello, asked if she'd like it signed, and she said yes. Best story is from writer Mark Billingham. Sat down on a train and woman opposite him was reading one of his books. He said, "I see you're reading my book." She looked horrified and said, "I'm so sorry! It was just sitting there when I sat down and I thought someone had left it behind. Here, take it, take it, I'm so sorry."

Always appreciate when automotive skills, abilities, & operating mechanics underpin stories such as with "Parting Shot." Finished reading "The Accident" & "Trust Your Eyes"; as the original owner & daily driver of beloved 2000 Dodge Neon MTX 5speed cable clutch, I must ask, what is the backstory there? Why THAT car?
