I loved the predestination vs free will theme in 'Licanius' and how Davian and Kayden come to see these are not incompatible ideas; what inspired you to include such a theme in the trilogy? (Incidentally, loved Davian's talk about 'grey morality' with Raleth) Looking forward to "The Strength of the Few"!

That came about for two reasons. One, was that at that point I was a little sick of the prophecies I was finding in a lot of fantasy books, where vague symbolism meant that they could end up meaning almost anything - which led me to wonder what a fantasy world might look like if people could actually see the future.
The second was that I'm Presbyterian, and so as soon as I started thinking about a world where the future could really be seen (as opposed to 'prophecies'), it led on very naturally to revolving around that theme!

Hey James, absolutely love The Will of The Many, probably my favourite book I've ever read. Whilst I do like the new redesign style, I can't help but feel that it's a step down from how incredible the original cover looks! Would love to know the reason behind the switch up and if you anticipate a "special edition" of The Strength of The Few to release matching the original style?

I'm fascinated by the idea that you seem to have just decided to become an author one day because you were inspired by Brandon and Patrick. Could you provide us with a bit of a background/biography? How did you find the time to do it? Did you have a writing background before starting your first novel or did you just have a natural gift for telling an amazing story?
