M.A. Nilles asked M.A. Nilles:

How many books are in each of your series?

M.A. Nilles I'm posted this question for anyone who may want to know what to expect or what they're missing.

Here's the rundown on the longer series:

LEGEND OF THE WHITE DRAGON - 5 book: Prophecy, Legends, Legacies, Fireblood, Destiny

STARFIRE ANGELS (3 series):

Dark Angel Chronicles (5) - Starfire Angels, Broken Wings, Crystal Tomb, Origins of Dark Angel, Forever Dark. In addition, there is a separate shorter story, When Angels Cry.

Revelations (5 but as 3 novels + *2 shorter stories) - Soriel, *Deception, Phantoms, *Shards, Nemesis

Forgotten Worlds (25 planned; as of this question answer (7/9/24), 17 published)-- 1) A New Beginning - 2) The Rule of Yonder - 3) Vault of the Celestials - 4) In Darkness, Light - 5) The Destruction of Walls - 6) Disposition of Dreams - 7) Remnants - 8) Racing the Orast Belt - 9) Ferious - 10) Dragon and Fury - 11) Voices in the Dark - 12) Messages - 13) Soul Shadow - 14) Unbroken Bonds - 15) Beneath the Surface - 16) Ghosts - 17) Homecoming (Books 18-25 yet to come)

Forgotten Worlds is a space opera series set in the Starfire Angels universe. With a planned 25 books, they were conceptualized to be short novels, although the first book came in just under that word count (40,000 words by SFWA standards for a minimum novel length) and is considered a novella. The books are short so that the series doesn't get dragged out too long. I write every book myself (no ghost writers and no AI). The series is outlined as 25 books, although there are plenty of ideas for more. The books are written as complete episodes with their own plots that are part of a larger series arc. In a way, each book is a chapter of a larger story. It has a variety of plots to keep the series exciting and fresh with each book as a new adventure while also building on the main series plot to the series climax. I hope readers have as much fun reading about characters' adventures as I do writing them!
