I love your work. I've been sneaking The Hollows series into my house since it started. I wrote a university paper declaring your series should be considered for the science fantasy genre and now I've published my first book. What is the one thing you wish someone told you after you were first published? Thanks :)

Kim Harrison Congratulations! That is fantastic that you made the jump to published writer! I'm so glad you are enjoying the Hollows. I really don't have a good answer, except perhaps to have that second book on your desk and working on it before the first one actually hits the shelf.

I'm reading the Drafter and see that book 3 is written but not published. At this point it looks like the big houses are not going to do it so I urge you to publish it yourself. While the series doesn't have the ratings of the Rachel Morgan books (who could compete with Jenks & Al after all?), the Peri Reed books still have healthy ratings & in fact there are many other book series published that have worse ratings.
