Just started PANIC and am enjoying it. At this point I don't know if anyone of the characters you've introduced is going to make it. Any particular inspiration for the containers or using that device to spread the virus?

Sorry I didn't notice this question earlier! Great to hear you're enjoying Panic! I think I briefly mention the history behind the containers in volume 6, though it's no great spoiler if you haven't got that far. The original idea came from me daydreaming about all the satellites orbiting the Earth, and imagining the possibility that the companies that put them up there built in a weapon that could strike across the globe simultaneously, and which could wait in orbit until the time came to deploy it.
