Wild Horses Don't Stop at Whoa began as an array of disparate pieces. I gathered the best of my poetry and began to see threads among them. The title novella began as a challenge from my husband. He wanted me to write a story featuring horses. After awhile, I began to see that horses featured in my poetry and stories either literally or symbolically.
