Hi Mr. Gibbs! Our school book club is reading SPY SCHOOL, and my students want to know how much of YOU (or people you know) is in the character of Ben Ripley? How do you come up with the ideas for your characters?

Stuart Gibbs Yes, there is a lot of me in Ben Ripley. (Though he's smarter than me. And better under pressure.) I get inspiration for characters from all sorts of places, but usually, I try to come up with the most amusing characters possible.
